72 rain barrels~29 classrooms~2500 participants

The Orlando Project kicked-off on March 24, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. Students in twenty-nine classroom in Orange County schools painted converted Coca-Cola Beverages Florida syrup barrels. From March 31-April 2, forty rain barrels were painted at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. Park guests were invited to ‘Brighten a Barrel’ that were donated to the City of Orlando through Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Green Works Initiative. Installation locations include community centers, Orland Wetlands Park, and Rollins College.
